The Government has announced New Zealand will move out of Alert Level 4 lockdown at 11.59 pm on Monday, 27 April. Some of you may be wondering how that affects your Fresh Choice Nelson shopping experience. So, we thought we’d bring you another weekly update. You’ll likely know that as an essential business, we’ve been open and operating from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm seven days a week throughout the COVID-19 crisis. In all honesty, as the nation transitions to Alert Level 3, things won’t look too different in-store.
Fresh Choice Nelson Shopping @ Alert Level 3:
Keeping you safe:
We’ll continue to keep all the measures detailed in last week’s article in place. Just to briefly recap, that means our entrance will be manned to limit foot traffic inside the store. Social distancing rules and guidelines will continue to be upheld both in-store and while queueing outside. We’ll also continue to sanitise trollies, baskets, and hard surfaces. Trollies and baskets between each customer and hard-surfaces every twenty minutes.
You can read the full list of the measures we’re taking to keep you and our team safe HERE.
A few of you have asked whether we’ll be opening our Espresso Bar at Alert Level 3. To keep our team and customers safe, we’ve decided not to do this. Rest assured, we’ll reunite you with your favourite take away one day soon, but now is not the time!
Finally, if you want to take advantage of quieter store hours to do your Fresh Choice Nelson shopping, then try to visit us between 7:00 am and 9:00 am or 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. At these times you’re unlikely to have to queue. If you do find yourself in a queue (at any point in the day) you shouldn’t have to stand in line outside the store for more than five to ten minutes.
Shopping Online:
We know that some of you haven’t been able to get delivery or Click & Collect slots, but we’ve been working hard to ensure these are freed up. So, in the words of the legendary crooner, David Soul… “Don’t give up on us baby!”
Over the last week, things have eased up on our digital platforms. So, try again and you should now be able to get a “Click & Collect” for the next day, with delivery slots opening up about 2-3 days ahead.
We are still reserving some spaces for those in our community who are most in need. If you are in the vulnerable or ‘at risk’ category and need extra help please contact Dean directly by email – Email Dean.
Stock Levels:
We continue to receive deliveries six days a week, and stock levels are getting better every day. You may still find the occasional “Out of Stock” item, but rest assured we’re doing everything we can to ensure the shelves are full when you next do your Fresh Choice Nelson shopping.
Once again, we want to thank you for supporting our Fresh Choice Nelson team and do message us (through our Facebook page) if you have any other questions you need answering.
